The heritage of the nomadic cattle breeding gives us unforgettable gastronomic experiences rich in meat and dairy products. The Epirus feta is justly famous, as is buttermilk and hard cheese. Typical are also various meat dishes, such as goat's meat in a pot with wild vegetables, or the pita made from homemade puff pastry, which are filled with everything that is regional and seasonal – pumpkin, wild herbs, cheese and the like.
